The CryoEM Facility (CEMF) provides access and training on four high-end cryo-TEMs, and two cryo-Focused Ion Beams (cryo-FIB) throughout three environmentally controlled facilities located on the UTSouthwestern campus. CEMF couples with the UTSW Structural biology Lab (SBL) to provide core services in Single-Particle Analysis (SPA), cryo-Electron Tomography (cryo-ET), cryo-Focused Ion Beam (FIB) milling, cryo-Correlative Light and Electron microscopy (cryo-CLEM), and microcrystal electron diffraction (microED). CEMF is home to the most cutting edge cryoEM equipment in the southwestern United States and houses an expert staff of scientists to advise and carryout complex projects.
